All of the session leaders are fully qualified pre-school teachers and all of
the staff have been specially chosen for their dedication and devotion to
helping children.
By way of introduction to those staff members and to assist the new children in
recognising the 'big' people they will see at the school. You will find pictures
below and to the right of all the current staff members.
In addition to all of the necessary qualifications, all the staff are First Aid
qualified, specifically in the area of young children.
One of the statutory requirements of staffing for pre-schools/playgroups is to
have one member of staff for every 8 children. However at The Windmill we have
three members of staff in each class (equating to 1 staff member for 5
children). This allows for every child to enjoy a one-to-one teaching time with
the teacher providing, as our motto says,
'a solid foundation for your child's education'.
