employment opportunities
Given the nature of our International environment it is inevitable that some
staff do move on after a while, therefore we are always looking for hard working
dedicated people to join us at The Windmill.
If you are interested in employment at The Windmill then please contact Angela
either by telephone or
email for an application
form.

Posts are normally advertised with the major International Organisations via
their notice boards. This applies to both qualified teaching staff and
assistants.
work experience
The Windmill also allows for work experience students who wish to further their
studies in teaching, nursing or child related careers. If you are a student or
education establishment who would like to take part in this scheme please
contact Angela by telephone or
email.
and then..
I submitted an application now what happens?
Once your application has been received, you will receive an acknowledgment
e-mail or letter (normally within 1 working week) to confirm that we have
received your application. This letter will explain what happens next.
When will my references be checked? Will they be checked even if there
is no current vacancy?
References will only be checked prior to interview for teaching staff. For all
other positions references will be obtained once an offer of employment has been
made. All contracts of employment are subject to receiving two satisfactory
references and a satisfactory Criminal Record Check or ‘Verklaring Goed Gedrag'
certificate. Upon offer of employment further details of how to obtain this
certificate will be given.
Will I be paid daily travel expenses?
We do not reimburse your travel expenses to and from work each day, neither do
we reimburse parking fees if required.
I would like to apply for a job but do not have a work permit for The
Netherlands , can I still apply?
You must have a valid Dutch work permit ‘Werkvergunning' when you send in your
application. Where applicable, evidence of this must be submitted together with
your completed application form. EU citizens do not need a work permit to work
in The Netherlands and are therefore exempt from this requirement. Regardless of
your nationality or circumstances you do require to have a current SOFI number.
